東京から、「命をつなぐ木魂の会」事務局の大庭泰三さん（写真左）がお見えになりました。
この会では《ヴァイオリン・プロジェクト「千の音色でつなぐ絆」心でつなぐ千人のヴァイオリニストのリレー》を展開していらっしゃいます。

このプロジェクトは、ヴァイオリンドクターの中澤宗幸氏が、被災地で生まれ育った木材でヴァイオリンを製作し、賛同する音楽家がその楽器の演奏を通して被災された方を励まし、亡くなられた方に祈りを捧げ、震災のことを語りつないでいくことを目的とするそうです。
 ヴァイオリンの背中には「奇跡の一本松」が描かれています。

Mr. Taizo Oba, from the office of the “Tree spirits that connect lives” commission, visited us from Tokyo. This commission is currently working on a violin project, called “Sen no neiro de tsunagu kizuna” (“Ties that Bind through a Thousand Tones”). The goal of this project is to pray for the victims’ souls, to encourage surviving disaster victims and to pass along recollections of the earthquake. To do this, it is having bow maker and luthier Mr. Muneyuki Nakazawa create a violin out of wood from the disaster areas, and then having musicians who approve of this project’s goals play it.
