遠く広島から、「横山幸雄＆田野倉雅秋 被爆ピアノ・ヴァイオリンチャリティーコンサート実行委員会」実行委員長の鍵本文吾さん（写真右）がお見えになりました。
2012年12月19日に開催したチャリティーコンサートの収益金を、音楽を通じた復興支援活動に役立ててほしいとのことでご寄付いただきました。
このコンサートで演奏されたグランドピアノとヴァイオリンは、いずれも爆心地からほど近いところで被爆したものだそうです。演奏者はピアニスト横山幸雄さん（エリザベト音楽大学客員教授）とヴァイオリニスト田野倉雅秋さん（広島交響楽団のコンサートマスター）です。

ご関係者と広島の方々の熱意とご厚意に胸を打たれる思いがしました。どうもありがとうございます。

Mr. Bungo Kagimoto visited us from Hiroshima. He donated the proceeds of a charity concert held last December to us. The piano and violin used at the concert are remnants of the bombing of Hiroshima. The musical ensemble consisted of pianist Mr. Yukio Yokoyama, of the Elisabeth University of Music, and Mr. Masaaki Tanokura, Concert Master of the Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra. We were impressed by a kindness and sympathy that can be found only in the people of Hiroshima, who had to overcome such great misfortune.
