4月25日(木)、仙台市宮城野区出花（いでか）地区の集会所での復興コンサート「出花スマイルコンサート~仙台フィルとともにたのしいひとときを~」がおこなわれました。
今日の出演は仙台フィルハーモニー管弦楽団による弦楽四重奏。ヴァイオリン松山古流さん、ヴァイオリン熊谷洋子さん、ヴィオラ清水暁子さん、チェロ石井忠彦さんです。
この地域はまったく海の気配は感じられないのですが、集会所の前まで津波が到達したそうです。周辺の住宅は1階部分が浸水したところも多く、集会所は避難所になり、地域の方々は力を合わせて炊き出しや復旧作業に尽力なさったのでした。現在は、より被害の大きかった沿岸部からこちらへ移転してきた方もいらっしゃるそうです。あれから2年を経て、あらためてみなさんの御苦労をねぎらい、新しい住民どうしの交流を図っていただく機会に、演奏をお届けにあがりました。
初夏を思わせるうららかな陽気に恵まれ、50名以上の方がお集まりになりました。「北国の春」「蘇州夜曲」「北上夜曲」など、懐かしの曲を演奏に合わせてみんなで歌いました。参加した方から「大きな声を出すのは気持ちが良いです」「1時間があっという間でした」との感想をいただきました。

On April 25, 2013, we organized a Concert for Recovery at the community hall in Ideka Area in Miyagino, Sendai. Although the sea is not visible from this area, the tsunami came right to the front of this community hall on March 11, 2011. Many nearby houses were inundated, and this building became an evacuation center, from which locals worked very hard conducting soup-runs and on reconstruction. Now the area hosts people who have moved from coastal areas, which suffered greater damage. The attendees enjoyed listening to a string quartet, as well as singing old songs with each other. The feedback included such comments as, “It feels good to sing aloud” and “One hour passed in a flash”.
