5月1日(水)、仙台港背後地6号公園仮設住宅集会所を会場に、復興コンサートが行われました。
この日の出演は、仙台フィルからヴァイオリン奏者の小川有紀子さんとチェロ奏者の山本純さんです。
この会場に打ち合わせに来た日は、ちょうど「チームはぎ」のご婦人方が手芸品づくりをしていました。「リクエスト曲はありませんか？」と尋ねると、「メンデルスゾーンのヴァイオリン協奏曲が聴きたい！」との声がありました。後日、ヴァイオリンの小川さんへ相談すると「やりましょう」とのお返事。有名な最初のワンフレーズだけではありましたが、とても喜んでいただけたようでした。

そして帰り際には、ユーモアたっぷりの自治会長さんが「ここはすっかり何も無くなってしまったもんだから、御礼は現物支給で…」と“チームはぎ”の手芸品を、お二人に手渡しました。

 On May 1, 2013, we organized a Concert for Recovery
at the community hall in Sendai Port Hinterland No.6 Park Temporary Housing Area
in Miyagino, Sendai. The attendees requested Mendelssohn’s “Violin Concerto in
E minor”, whose famous opening phrase gave them great pleasure. At the end of
the concert, the president of the neighborhood association said, “We’ve lost everything,
so we can only give you a little something as token of our gratitude”. They
gave a turtle-shaped lucky charm made in a handicraft salon of local housewives
called “Team Hagi (bush clover)”.
